Open the group, click Edit, then Copy. Airstudio opens a new, unsaved group with every setting from the original: dates, policies, packages, booking fields, notification settings, and teams. The name is blank so you can enter the new one, for example changing Seniors 2026 to Seniors 2027.
Subjects are not copied. Import the new roster after saving. Custom fields are also not carried over; add them again on the new group.
| Action | Where | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Remove | Subjects table | Takes the subject out of this group. Their record, other groups, sessions elsewhere, and login are unchanged. |
| Delete Subjects | Actions → Delete → Subjects | Archives the group's subjects. Their sessions and folders are removed and their login accounts are deactivated, so families can no longer sign in or book. Subjects who also belong to another group are not archived. |
| Delete Sessions | Actions → Delete → Sessions | Removes the group's sessions while keeping the subjects. Use when a schedule must be rebuilt from scratch. |
| Delete Subject Group | Actions → Delete → Subject Group | Archives the group itself along with its sessions and files. Jobs the group was assigned to remain. |
Deleting runs in the background. The group shows a Deleting Subjects indicator while it works, and imports are blocked until it finishes.
On the Subject Groups list, select the groups and choose Actions → Delete. The same record type options apply to every selected group.
<aside> ⚠️
Deletion is intended for cleanup after a season closes or for correcting a bad import. When a family simply changes their mind, cancel the session instead so the record and its payment history stay intact.
