For trusted crews that clock themselves in and out from the field, you can let employees edit their own timesheets directly. Anything they add still lands in your queue as unapproved — you keep final say at payroll time.
The permission also lives per-employee on Employees → Edit Employee → Can Edit Timesheets. Keep it off for new hires, contractors, or anyone you want vetted through admin entry only.

Settings → Business Info → Timesheets → Employees Can Edit Timesheets. Switching the studio-level setting to Yes grants the permission to every existing employee in one pass.

With it on, an employee can add and adjust their own clock-in, clock-out, and break events from their timesheets unless the timesheet has already been approved by an admin. Changes made by the employee save as unapproved — flagged in your queue the same way any unapproved punch is, and your approval is still required before they affect pay. Edits made by an admin stay approved on save.
Best for studios with experienced and trusted staff where the cost of chasing missing punches outweighs the cost of reviewing self-entered ones. Studios running large contractor rosters typically leave it off.
