Job Types classify your jobs: Senior Sessions, School Candids, Sports Team Day, Corporate Headshots. A type gives a job its color on the schedule, default shift buffers for staff, and the workflow that should run for it.

Job Types are visible to Administrators, Regional Administrators, Scheduling Managers, and Airstudio Support. The video below walks through creating one.
Add you Job Types here, things like “Senior Sessions”, “School Candid Event” etc. You can set the color for these items on your schedule, add default staff shift start end end buffers, and connect Task Collection Templates that will automatically add to any job created with this type:

Task Collection Templates can be attached to Job Types. When attached every time you create a job of that type, the Collection template will be attached, due dates assigned and assigned to the correct staff:
