A multi-day job is one event photographed over several dates: a three-day yearbook shoot, a two-day sports league, a week of dance recitals. Airstudio keeps each day as its own job on the schedule, so staffing and timesheets stay per day, and links the days together so you can manage them as one.

Creating one

Open the job form and click Add Date for each additional day. Each date becomes a job with the same name, location, subject groups, staffing pattern, and equipment. Save once.

Alternatively, Copy an existing job to a new date; the copy is linked to the original as part of the same multi-day group.

Keeping the days in step

From any day of the group:

Action Effect
Multi Day Sync Sessions Copies the session setup, subject groups and package selections, to every other day.
Multi Day Sync Employee Assignments Copies the staff roster and roles to every other day.
Sync All Jobs Both at once.

Cancelling, completing, deleting

When you cancel, complete, uncancel, or delete one day, Airstudio asks whether to apply the same to the other days in the group and lets you pick which. Choose only the affected day for a weather cancellation, or the whole group when the event is called off.

Booking across days

Each day is bookable on its own, with its own setups and buffers, but a subject group attached to the group can book on any of them. Subjects see all the dates as options for the same group.

Name multi-day jobs identically and let the date tell them apart. Notifications, log sheets, and reports group cleanly, and staff see one event rather than three.
