Create your own set of custom notifications and set them to send automatically based on task triggers, such as a status change, due date, or event date.

Step 1: Create a New ‘Custom’ Notification Template
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Select + New Notification
- Give the task a name
- Enable the toggle for Include Notification Triggers
- Create a rule for what triggers this notification
- Set the Trigger Type: On Status Change, On Due Date, On Event Date
- Set the Recipient Type: All Assigned Employees, Select Employees, Select Organization Contacts, Custom
- Save
- Create the Email Template
- Save
Step 2: Attach the Task Trigger to a Task
- Go to Tasks > Templates
- Create a new Task Collection template or open an existing template
- Open a task and scroll down to the Notification section
- Open the section and select + New Trigger
- Select a Notification Template or create a new one by clicking the + sign
- Click to open the task trigger to review or update details, or add attachments
- Save the Collection Template when finished
