Organizations have their own notification templates and recipients, separate from the messages sent to subjects. This page covers what is sent to an organization's contacts and how to control it.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Notifications Enabled | Master switch. When off, no notification is sent to this organization's contacts. |
| Copy Notifications From | At creation, copies templates from another organization so a new client starts with your refined wording. |
| Confirmation Emails | Extra addresses that receive session confirmations, for a front office or district mailbox that is not a named contact. |
| Default File Link Contact Notification Recipients | Contacts pre-selected when staff share files from the organization's folders. |
Each contact has Receive Email, Receive SMS, Receive Invoice Emails, and Receive Welcome Email toggles. A contact with email turned off receives nothing, even when the organization's notifications are enabled.
Contacts are notified by specific events rather than broadcast: being added to a job, a job's schedule changing, a file being shared with them, an invoice being issued, an E-Sign request, and similar. The exact set is defined by the notification triggers in Settings → Notifications and can be enabled or disabled per organization.
When you improve a template, select the affected organizations on the Organizations list and choose Actions → Sync Notifications. Pick the source organization and either sync all templates or select specific ones. The selected organizations' templates are replaced with the source versions.
On the Organizations page, open the Contacts tab, select contacts, and choose Send Notification to send a notification template to them directly.
The Notifications tab on the organization is a delivery log: each message, who received it, when, whether it was opened, and any click activity. Undeliverable messages are flagged.
