Tasks belong to records, and records show their tasks. This page covers where tasks appear outside the Tasks area.
The job's Tasks tab lists every task attached to the job, from applied collections and created directly. Add Tasks From Collection on the job form applies templates. Job tasks carry the job's start date as their event date, so due-date offsets and date-based notification rules count from picture day. The Tasks list can be filtered to one job, and the Dashboard can be scoped to a job.
The organization's Tasks tab shows tasks on the organization itself and on its jobs and groups. Organization templates are applied at creation for onboarding, renewal, and account-management workflows. Task notifications for organization tasks can go to the organization's contacts.
The group's Tasks tab holds program-level work: opt-in campaigns, roster cleanup, delivery. Subject Group templates apply here.
A subject's Tasks tab shows tasks about the subject (retouching, a re-shoot) and, on a second tab, tasks the subject created through the portal or a form.
An item's Tasks tab holds maintenance: sensor cleaning, firmware updates, calibration. Equipment Item templates create recurring maintenance checklists.
An employee's page shows the tasks assigned to them, and the Dashboard can be scoped to one employee to see their load and lateness.
Organization contacts added to a task under Deliver To receive its notifications and, with permission, its files. They do not see the Tasks area.

Attach a task to the most specific record that makes sense. A yearbook proof deadline belongs on the subject group; a contract renewal belongs on the organization; a camera repair follow-up belongs on the equipment item. The right attachment puts the task in front of the person looking at that record.
