Time tracking records how long tasks actually take. Every task has a timer; every session is saved with who ran it and when.
Only one timer runs per person at a time. Starting a second asks you to stop the first.
The Time Tracking section lists each session with start, end, and duration. Show Mine and Show All switch between your sessions and everyone's. Administrators can edit a session's times, change its employee, or delete it; staff can stop their own.
The task's Time Spent is the sum of its sessions. With Expenses it becomes the task's cost, and rolls up to jobs and organizations for profitability reporting.
Start and stop timers on tasks (and task steps) so you can finally see how long re-shoots, retouching tickets, and comp builds actually take. Time on task × pay rate = real cost for every Task in the system. This is the data feed for job-level profitability and task-level expense reporting.

Open any task and hit Start. The timer runs until you hit Stop. Tasks can be started and stopped multiple times — total time accumulates across every session.
