Create event types so employees can request time off or indicate when they are available or unavailable to work.
- Log in to Airstudio in your browser.
- Click Timesheets.
- Click Work Schedule.
- Click + New Event.
- Select Single Event.
- Click the + sign next to Event Type.
- Click New Event Type.
- Give the event type a name (for example, Time Off Request or Unavailable).
- Turn on the Working toggle if the event type means the employee is available to work.
- Turn on the Send Notification toggle if you want a notification to go out.
- The notification that goes out is the “Employee Work Schedule Update” email, where you can CC any admins who should approve time off requests. Leave this toggle off if you don’t want notifications to go out.
- Click Save.
