The Airstudio mobile app puts the field side of the studio in a photographer's pocket: today's jobs, who else is on them, the clock-in button, receipts, time off, the team directory, and Airchat. It is the same account and the same data as the web app, so anything done on the phone is on the office screen a moment later.

Installing

Search Airstudio in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install. The app is free; access comes with an employee login. It runs on phones and tablets, and tablets get a wider two-column layout.

Signing in

Use the same email and password as the web app. If your studio requires two-factor authentication, a verification code arrives by email or text. After the first login the app offers Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock so you are not typing a password on a school parking lot. See Logging In and Security.

The five tabs

Tab What it is for
Schedule Your jobs by week, with everything about each job one tap away.
Timesheets Clock in and out, add expenses and receipts, review hours.
Work Schedule Availability and time off, and office shifts.
Employees The team directory: find a colleague, call or email them.
Chat Airchat: channels, direct messages, and live calls.

Your own profile and settings are under your avatar at the top of the screen.

Who can use it

Every employee, at every permission level. What you can change follows the same rules as the web: General Staff see their own work and can confirm assignments, clock in, add expenses, and chat; Scheduling Managers can edit jobs and assignments; Administrators can manage employees. Organization contacts, subjects, and parents do not use the mobile app.

Languages

English and French. Change it under Profile → Language.

Ask staff to allow notifications and location when the app asks. Notifications carry job assignments and incoming calls; location is recorded with each clock punch and powers mileage.
