Custom Fields store information about an organization that Airstudio does not track by default: contract expiration, commission rate, yearbook vendor, preferred delivery method, anything your business needs on file.
Individually. When editing an organization, click Add Custom Field, give it a name and type, and save. The field exists only on that organization.
As a set. In Settings → Custom Field Sets, define a named set of fields once, then apply it to any organization with Add Custom Field Set. Sets keep field names consistent across clients, which matters for filtering and importing.
Field types include text, long text, number, email, date, checkbox, and dropdown with fixed options.
Open the organization's Custom Fields tab to view and edit values. Values can also be loaded in bulk through the organization import by matching a spreadsheet column to the field name. See Importing Organizations.
Select organizations on the Organizations list and choose Actions → Update Custom Fields. Enter values once and they are applied to every selected organization.
The Organizations list search includes a Custom Fields facet, so you can find, for example, every organization whose contract expires this year.

Create a Custom Field Set before your first organization import and match your spreadsheet headers to the field names. The importer will map them automatically.
