Tasks are the work around the shoot: import the roster, print the QR codes, get the contract signed, finish the retouching, clean the sensor. Each task has an owner, a due date, and a status, and belongs to the job, client, group, person, or piece of gear it is about. Work that repeats is built once as a template and applied to every job or season, so the same steps happen in the same order every time, automations move tasks forward, and the next person is told when it is their turn.

Three layers: a Template is the blueprint, a Collection is that blueprint applied to one job with real dates and real people, and a Task is one piece of work. Build templates once; apply them every time.
